This shows that you care about the information that you are delivering and that you care that the patient feels confident about the procedures that you’ll be performing.
- Extra Aesthetics - Maybe visual aids will help, or detailed written explanations on procedures that could be reread later, or even just laying out the facts - cut and dry. You’ll save yourself time and you’ll establish great trust with your clients if you take a little time in the beginning to get to know what mode of delivery would work for them.
- Cut The Fluff - Let’s be honest, dental procedures can be expensive. This can be a hard pill to swallow for some, but there is a way to respect your patient's feelings on the matter and deliver the truth, without losing the sale. Being upfront keeps the ball in your court and establishes you as the expert in the room. This is especially important when explaining procedures, finances, or any other highly detailed information with patients.
- Crystal Clear - Don’t dance around certain subjects just because they may be “difficult”. It shows respect to your patients when you can be transparent without pandering to them. It also gives them confidence that their big investment is in the hands of a company that cares about them.
