Before you learn about all of the new and exciting ways
to market for the LANAP® Protocol and Gum Disease it is
important to understand the journey we have taken to
create this business system.
For the past 3 years PDM consultants have been testing
different strategies and concepts to market the laser,
increase public awareness, and ensure patient
acceptance.
We have tested radio, TV, direct mail, billboard, internet
marketing, and more… Our goal was to take the
marketing strategies that worked in every market
regardless of where they are located and their
demographic, and create an automated system so that
every lanap doctor can benefit!
Although direct mail, radio, and TV for instance can be extremely effective with the right plan and the right market, it
was impossible for us to create a strategy that would work in every market. Each one of those campaigns is highly
sensitive to demographic, and location. It takes weeks of planning and customization to ensure success.
After years of planning and testing we determined that the most consistent and predictable form of marketing is the
Internet. Every other form of marketing drives traffic back to the web. It is crucial that each LANAP® doctor has a highly
visible presence on the internet for specific keyword searches.
If you go to www.google.com and type in “gum surgery alternatives”, or “gum disease treatment options”, or “how to
save my teeth”, or “Laser Gum Surgery”, or “dental implants”… Where do you fall on the page?
A fact that we find interesting is that LANAP® Doctors make up only 1200 of the clinicians in this country yet most of
them do not have a plan to increase public awareness in their community.
LANAP® does not have a large national publicly traded company with marketing behind the product to push
awareness. Patients, for the most part, are not aware that LANAP® exists… Most patients are not aware that lasers
are used to treat gum disease…
Every day patients are told that they have gum disease and they are going to lose their teeth, or have to go through
a painful surgery that may or may not work.
When these patients go to the Internet to research their options and find out if there are any alternatives or less
invasive protocols can they find you? In most cases probably not… And if they can it is because they are most likely
right down the street.
This protocol has changed the way that clinicians treat gum disease and it provides enormous value for the patient!
Your practice should be highly visible not only for your local community but for at least 30 miles away.

for.
